Driving Directions

Please use the directions as some online maps are incorrect.

From the West Side of the Greater Toronto Area, travel approx 80km on Highway 400 North towards Barrie.
Continue on Highway 11 North towards Orillia/North Bay for about 120km to Huntsville.
Take Highway 60 (exit 223) towards Ottawa for 35km past Huntsville and Dwight until you arrive in Oxtongue Lake.
Turn right onto Oxtongue Lake Road once you pass Lobo's Gas Station - Algonquin Pizza & Panini (if you hit a bridge you have gone too far). The Pines is on your right just after the turn. You will see the sign and our number is 1032 Oxtongue Lake Road. Total Time: approx 3 hours.

From the Greater Toronto Area travel east on Highway 401 to Highway 35/115 North towards Lindsay/ Peterborough.
Stay on Highway 35 for approx 200km through Haliburton.
Highway 35 ends at Highway 60 - turn right and travel east on Highway 60 for 10 km to Oxtongue Lake.
Turn right onto Oxtongue Lake Road once you pass Lobo's Gas Station - Algonquin Pizza & Panini (if you hit a bridge you have gone too far). The Pines is on your right just after the turn. You will see the sign and our number is 1032 Oxtongue Lake Road. Total Time: approx 3 hours.

Take Highway 417 West from Ottawa, which merges with Highway 17, the Trans Canada Highway.
Continue west on Highway 17 about 50 km to Highway 60. Take Highway 60 West and travel 65km through Algonquin Park to Oxtongue Lake.
Turn left on the Oxtongue Lake Road immediately after crossing the bridge. The Pines Cottage Resort is at the far end of the Oxtongue Lake road on the left. You will see the sign and our number is 1032 Oxtongue Lake Road. Total Time: approx 3 1/2 hours.
