Our Beach, our Pride
A large safe sandy beach is the centre of activity in any traditional Canadian Cottage resort vacation. Our beach is second to none! A roped off area for younger children and a floating swim raft are popular for both young and old. Bring your beach towel and toys and spend those sunny summer days on the shore of Oxtongue Lake.

Boating
Enjoy a sunny day boating on Oxtongue Lake. Our cottage rental rates include use of canoes, kayaks and small paddle boats. Small motor boats are available for our guests to rent. Please inquire on your arrival about the rates.

Children's Play Area
Whether on land or in the Lake, The Pines has a safe place for your children to play. The Pines Cottage Resort has an elaborate children's play area for swinging, sliding and climbing. Anchored close to shore at our beach is Space Mountain. Children of all ages can climb it, slide down its side and spend hours of playtime in the clean waters of Oxtongue Lake.

Fishing
Take a canoe or rent a motor boat and try your luck. Oxtongue Lake offers great fishing. Hook a smallmouth Bass or Lake Trout. Fishing rods are available for rent and we have the bait too!
